What it is
A brake check looks at the parts that wear: the pads and discs, and the fluid and hoses that feed the calipers. Pads and discs wear with every stop and fluid ages, so a look now can catch a problem before it becomes a bigger job.
The check is free. If anything needs attention, you get a clear explanation and a price first, and you decide what goes ahead.
When to book it
- Squealing, grinding or scraping when you brake
- The car pulls to one side under braking
