Red SEAT: new front brakes

New discs fitted, hubs cleaned up, stopping like it should.

This SEAT came in for front brakes.

With the wheels off, the old discs came away to show rusted hubs underneath. We cleaned the hub faces back so the new discs sit perfectly flat, then fitted the new discs and pads and checked everything before the wheels went back on.

Cleaning the hub face is the step that gets skipped, and it is the one that stops a new disc from wobbling and juddering under braking.

Not sure about your brakes? Book a free brake check and we will tell you honestly what needs doing, if anything.
